Hiring the Rooms
Here at Norbury we are happy to accommodate different events from the public, whether they are for a private function, an organisation looking for a meeting room, or a club looking for a space to run. Below you will find the information for each room we offer and the prices for each one. If you are interested in hiring out one or more of our rooms, please speak to our Room Bookings Coordinator, either by calling the office or emailing below.
The Legh Room
The Legh Room is our primary hall situated in the western side of the church building, accessed through the folding doors in the Narthex. It is our second largest space, but is the most frequently used space for external hires as it can be used for a variety of purposes. This is a flexible space which can be set up with chairs, tables, and plenty more. It is good for parties and large group bookings. It holds a capacity of 100 people and is priced at £12.50 per hour.
The Ryan Room
The Ryan Room is a smaller breakout room which can be accessed either from the kitchen corridor or the door at the rear end of the Legh Room. This room works well for small groups and meetings, it can also be hired along with the Legh Room to give your group/event two spaces. It has a capacity of 20 people and is priced at £5 per hour.
The Kitchen
We have a modern kitchen fitted with all the appliances needed for most functions. This space is only large enough to safely accommodate 4 people at a time. The kitchen is great to have if you are looking at a booking over several hours as it will give you access to drinks and other necessities. The kitchen is priced at a rate of £8.50 per session.
The Church
Our main church, referred to as “The Church” or “The Sanctuary”, is not booked out as regularly as our other spaces as it’s functionality is limited by the pews and altar space. The balcony is also off limits to external hires. The Church holds a capacity of 200 (without the balcony) and prices are negotiated based on need.
